I am a professor at the Department of Diplomacy, National Chengchi University in Taiwan. Prior to NCCU, I was an assistant professor at the S. Rajaratnam School of International Studies, Nanyang Technological University in Singapore. I obtained my PhD from the Department of Political Science at Washington University in St. Louis. I received my BA and MA from the Department of Political Science at National Taiwan University.
My research interests include international political economy, energy and resource politics, foreign direct investment, terrorism, and political methodology. I use quantitative methods to analyze the interaction between external economic factors and domestic politics.
